Shadow of a Shadow

airborne
living with the gravity
of the moon
each jump a surprise
staying high, longer
pausing in a lack of pull
or is it the opposite?
what pulls, what pushes?
I did twine my fingers
into the gears of time
like a cat pouncing on a shadow
and purr at such accomplishment
but shadows change
the sun moves
the clouds, blow
wisdom is a fine brew
it does not hide
but can’t be seen
it will not hide
but won’t be sought
it is a gift, that gives itself
it is
the shadow of a shadow
that once was

Coming up on enigma right about…now. Fine
wisdom is a fine brew
it does not hide
but can't be seen
it will not hide
but won't be sought
it is a gift, that gives itself
I can't put words to how these words resonate with me. They are brilliant! I also reveled in the image of the cat.
